I bought this around Memorial Day to replace a much older and noisier air conditioner and am quite happy with it. It was easy to install, comes with insulation for the side panels (no need to buy separate foam insulation), and has special features such as a sleep setting that automatically adjusts the temperature periodically and a remote sensing capability that links the degree of the cooling to the temperature AT THE REMOTE, not the temperature at the air conditioner itself. I do have to mention, however, that this last feature did not work all that consistently; however, this may have been a function of the temperatures in the 80's and 90's and I understand that realistically there is a limit to the number of degrees that a normal air conditioner can drop.

We recently moved and discovered the AC unit was not powerful enough for our house. I bought this a month ago, and it has made a significant improvement. It keeps our daughter's room nice and cool.
