Very Loud

Disappointing that this window air conditioner is so loud.

Hello janiscor, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. Is the A/C loud when the unit first turns on or the entire time while cooling? I also recommend checking your Owner's Manual (page 4) to make sure that the sounds that you're hearing are not part of the A/C's normal operation. Like your products, but expect higher quality

I bought this air conditioner to replace an air conditioner that failed after 3-1/2 years of use. Though I appreciate the fact that I was credited for a replacement, I had to reinstall the unit and physically return the old unit. I don't blame Frigidaire more than we, the consumers, who have forced manufactures to produce products outside the United States.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing Power

The unit has amazing power-it keeps my apartment completely cool and comfortable and the easy to read buttons/language make use a cinch!

Just doesn't work correctly!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this online for a great price. When installed it worked correctly but after a few weeks the economy mode doesn't work right. It's set st 71 but doesn't kick on until temperature reaches 78! Contacted frigidaire for exchange and they said all they could do was refund. Not acceptable to me so I kept the unit. Works ok on regular cool setting but not on economy mode. Would not recommend.

Is 2 years too long to expect an AC unit to work

We purchased the product about 2 years ago. I thought the company was great, and had great quality, but now it does not work, and I am sitting in a very hot house. What makes matters worse is that I have MS, so this heat is not good for me healthwise.. . . I can understand if the unit was 10 years old. But why make a machine that you know will die in a couple of years, so you can make money on extended warrantees? Is that what pride in workmanship is coming to now? I am VERY disappointed.

Seems to keep things very cold, but is quite loud

GOOD UNIT, EASY TO IN STALL. WORKS WELL
