I bought this unit a year ago and probly only been used 4 or 5 months, the unit has a mind of its own and will start beeping and switching its self randomly... waking up all thru the night because it will randomly go from fan to ac, to turning off and on... the remote is out of the room and no batteries it, so I knew my boyfriend wasn't Messing with me the first time it happend.... but it deos blow really nice cool air when it wants to work properly...

Better than advertised!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a 10,000 BTU rating, this unit surpasses cooling expectations. This works extremely well and has all the latest energy features. It will turn itself completely off and on as needed so no unnecessary waste of energy. Great features on the control panel as well.
