I bought this computer because I needed a Windows computer to submit medical data to my doctors. In order to use the program I downloaded, I had to remove the safety mode. It also kept telling me that I didn't have enough RAM memory. I had been told before I purchased it that it would work well for my purposes. My doctor did receive my data, but I think that it was an expensive way to do it, even though this wasn't an expensive laptop.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
