Consistency with a Price

Having used TurboTax for years it helps to be able to transfer prior years personal info without retyping all and seeing side by side comparisons of last year vs current year. But the initial product registration screen that will not go away is beyond annoying and by buying tax software I am not consenting to relentless marketing of Intuit products. Annually there are always a few bugs. One this year is a financed property sale that completed in 2019. Yet at review you have to go back and enter "0" for a transaction from 2 years ago that is totally irrelevant this year and not entered during the form completion. There is also some unnecessary redundancy as in double entering bank routing and account numbers for both state and federal returns, should transfer to state by default. And even though I have 20 consecutive years of TurboTax stored on the same hard drive, trying to use some of the past years comparison tools doesn't work because those records "can't be found". The most annoying thing about TurboTax is the pricing is all over the place with very significant retail prices that can change daily. Practically every year I research, purchase the lowest price I find then days later find I paid $15-$30 too much.
