I have used it for many years. One thing that is annoying are the final final checks and most annoying is one done after the user "pulls the trigger" to file. I had errors on a basic W2 entry that didn't get flagged till AFTER I "filed" the initial time. It doesn't make sense to me that that sort of check was not done till after all the previous checks had "passed:

I cashed out a retirement account and thought I was going to get killed on the taxes due. Much to my surprise it wasn't as bad as I had been thinking it would be. Yes we still paid but stress off not what I thought.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

Inefficient for self employed

Turbo Tax was unable to rectify an "error" within my 1040. As my estimated taxes were paid on time and were actually more than my actual taxes, the system could not cope with my wanting to defer $0 because this was more than what I owed.It took me hours to figure out what the problem was as the software offered no guidance and in the end I couldn't e-file. Can't wait to print and mail the 50 pages!

Love Turbo Tax

I have used Turbo Tax quite a few times over the years. The only time I didn't was when my investment firm picked up the tab for an accountant. I went back as soon as the firm stopped paying. It is so easy to use, that why I love it!
