Turbo Tax is the best

I've been using Turbo Tax at least since 2005. Tried another but this is by far the easiest and most thorough I've used.

Have used the product for years and loved it. This year was frustrating due to estimated tax - the calculation was incorrect!!! Wasted a ton of time trying to fix it and finally gave up. Had to fill it out manually on an IRS form. Total no-pass.

Love Turbo Tax

I love using TurboTax; I used to pay a FORTUNE to get my taxes done, but now I can do them myself; the program walks you through literally every single step to find all possible deductions and last year I even spoke with one of their experts on a particular real estate treatment I wasn't familiar with .... LOVE THESE GUYS

Instructions are not clear

Not the easiest to follow. TurboTax seems to assume every user has a lot of tax preparation experience. if the software is designed for tax professionals, that point should be made clear. If the software is for an average tax payer, it is not well through through. The instructions are not always clear. Most significantly, annualized income for Form 2210 is confusing and should have been made much easier and more step by step guidance. There was no clear trail and instructions on how the numbers were calculated or where they came from.

Multi State Move

Had an issue with Multi State Filing. Wife remained in one state but I moved out and back in the same year. The program demanded that both of us had to enter a leave and enter date. I just used 1/1 for her leave and 1/2 for enter.
