Disappointed for the first time in 20+ years

I live in Texas. Our filing deadline was moved to June 15, 2021 because of the February weather even we had. TurboTax still had my deadline as May 17, 2021, so I had to pay as soon as I filed. There was also a box numbering error on their 1099PATR form vs the IRS form.

Continuing decline in functionality

Have used TurboTax for about 30 years. In 2018, I noticed that the product was losing its edge. I will try a competitive product for my 2021 return.

Helpful for non professionals

Have used TurboTax Home & Business desktop version for the last 5 tax filing years. Always helpful with our fairly complex filing situation. Filed late this time and got message that e-filing no longer available so have to mail. But TT was not helpful with instructions on how to proceed.

TurboTax 2020 Home&Bus has issues with $10,200 UCE

I filed in Feb before the $10,200 Unemployment Compensation Exclusion. When I opened The Feb 2021 file opened in June it showed a different refund than I filed for because it had updated software before opening file. I had PDF copy. I need to amend my filing but it told me I did not need to but allowed me to proceed with my revised $1224 refund. It then gave me no way to ask for the refund to be direct deposited and I had to accept a mailed refund check.
