Disappointed

I was really disappointed with using Turbo Tax this year. I have been using TurboTax for many years. The lack of instructions an guidance on filling out the forms and what information belongs in what section was horrendous. You advertise that there is support available if we need it. Well I got more answers from just googling what I was trying to understand, than to go by your help section. I guess next year I will just need to go to a CPA. It won't cost me anymore than what all this did. Talk about nickel and dime you for everything. As if paying for the program wasn't enough.
I know my comments will fall on deaf ears, but at least I feel better expressing how I feel.

Turbo Tax is archaic, obtuse, and plagued w/inane

It took me 5 hours to figure out how to get out of your looping algorythyms.
I had to forgo possible deductions for my dependent because you won't delete a form that I want deleted.

Works great but could give better explanation when errors are identified. Also when trying to E-File it should only ask for payment method 1 time instead of separate charge for state, audit, electronic, bank info, etc. I spent valuable time entering redundant information.

So easy to perform even with a small business. Have been using for almost two decades. Have yet to see a reason to use a tax service.

LOVE TurboTax Download product. HATE TurboTax Live

Have used TT Download for years. Tried TT Live this year. Couldn't see or edit tax forms directly. Knew there were errors I couldn't fix. Called TT customer svc, purchased Download product, and she helped me transfer my data from LIVE to download. Never Again!
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments
