E-Filing does not work with "correct" info.

Answering questions to complete form is good. E-filing is impossible even with supplying the correct information that was checked a dozen times.

like the title, it is not fully automatic. It cannot recognize some areas in electronic sheets from Robinhood.

Ok but more confusing than it should be
on May 15, 2021

Have used TT for many years. It does not get easier to use. Parts of it are in fact better. But it SEEMS to contradict itself. I had to file an emended return for Fed and St this year and is was very confusing as to which forms to file and whether it even filed my State return electronically or not! good Grief TT ... why can't you make this process straightforward? The State part of the whole things is rough.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

More difficult every year for special circumstance
on May 15, 2021

I have been using TurboTax since the early 90's - when it was a DOS system. I used the Home & Business version, but I have found that as the years go on, the more complicated situations are not handled well by the Step by Step. Any number of times this year, I entered information in the Step by Step, only be find that errors occurred during the check because something on the forms wasn't entered by the software. It simply required adding the information to the forms - not an override. In addition, I spent 3 hours on the phone with a WONDERFUL tech guy, who couldn't get me past the fact that TurboTax insisted that for 2020, Code "W" in box 17 of the S Corp K-1 is not being used for W-2 wages. It kept giving me an error saying it was reserved for future use. Independently, I finally discovered there was a place to enter it, but nothing in TurboTax got me there, it was just through playing with the system trying to find it. More and more disappointed every year, folks. Last year was the first time I'd given you below a "5" and I gave you a "4". This year it has to be a "3".

Included state filing charged again twice $25x2
on May 15, 2021
Posted by: MKTax2020
One state filing was included with my initial purchase. At the time of filing, I have to pay $25 then a message pops up that the payment didn't go through. It charged again second time. I had confirmation emails and texts from my credit card. Now I have to fight to dispute the charges. Waste of my time.
