I've used TurboTax for a long time and have found it to be easy to use. I will continue to use this program as long as I am able to do my own taxes!

User interface complaint ... in the "Errors were found in your return" process, the prompts say "an entry is required" but there is absolutely no context of what that line means. There really should be a link to pop up the section of the form in question. (Or... take me back to the "EasyStep" prompt that should have explained what was needed in the first place.)
e-filing ... my e-file was rejected by the IRS because I didn't have an IPPIN. I didn't even know the IRS expected me to have an IPPIN. But after going through the IRS process to request a PIN and "Fixing" my return in TurboTax to fill in the number, TurboTax did not let me e-file again. The "Validation" step failed with "Duplicate social security number detected. A return has already been filed for this SSN." Duh! I tried two days ago and it was rejected, and *you* told me it was rejected. So *You* should know that this filing is not redundant.
Live help representatives were very kind and tried to be helpful. Their theory was that it was the IRS site that was complaining about a duplicate filing, so it *might* not be a TurboTax issue. But if that is really the case, then TurboTax's error message should be very explicit: "Your return cannot be accepted because the IRS is reporting that a return has already been filed for this SSN." End result is the same, but making the reason clear would keep me from getting mad at TurboTax.
In the end though, we could not take advantage of e-filing (and had to request a refund of the state e-filing fee that we had paid two days earlier) and print out paper to file by mail.
So while filling out the return itself was relatively painless, filing was a lot more trouble than it should have been.
