Incomplete Software

usually had good experience with turbo tax, This year was just glitchy and incomplete. Had a hard time filing due to software asking me to fill spaces that didn't need filling or asking me to enter information from my 2018 return not relevant to this years return.

turbo tax is super # 1

I been using turbo tax since 2000. Considering my tax return is kind complicated. I have to file few deferent schedules such as: married, depends, home owner, rental, self employed, business and I'm a employee. IRS has never questioned us. Truly recommend turbo tax

Disappointed

We purchased 2 rental properties in 2008. The 1st one appeared that every thing was entered correctly and the sale of it in 2017 went smooth. The 2nd property we sold in 2020 and when doing our taxes found out it was never entered so there was no depreciation on it or any additions we did to it. We have used Turbo Tax for at least 20 years.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments

TurboTax CD is buggy for multiple state taxes

The CD has a few bugs which made me frustrated. I have two state taxes and it did not tell me that I need to start non-residential state first. After I picked residential state, I was stuck there and unable to continue. And on high resolution computer, when I try to pay the second state, all the buttons and links on the popup page does not work. I had to do research and found it is known issue.
