I could never do my taxes on paper any more. Over the years they have gotten more complicated with depreciation, capital gains, etc. Turbotax keeps track of all those things automatically. I have much more confidence in Turbotax than my own records.

many challenges with completing maryland state

In previous years, it was relatively easy to find live help. That was not the case this year. I prematurely hit "complete" and it would not let me go back. would be helpful to see corresponding line numbers to the actual form.

Necessary evil of poor software

1) Security "decisions" are a joke. Do not prevent pasting of password. This prevents use of password mangers and promotes bad password practices.
2) Requiring a "Security question" is not security. It is simply codification of a BAD password - known piece of information that is a normal typeable word. Completely invalidates any other real security.
3) Your mortgage calculations are broken (and have been for multiple years). Fix them.
4) Anti-ad blocker code is chump business.. You charge heftily for this product. Needing to depend on malware-laced ad revenue even further makes a mockery of your so-called "security reasons".
