Turbo tax was good

Turbo tax walked me through the steps of filing my taxes very well, but it said I had to update my program before I could file. I did this multiple times (3) and finally, after 15 minutes, it sent my tax returns in. Why did I have to update and turbo tax said it was all updated but then it wouldn't be accepted because there was an update when there wasn't?

Had to fill in information you already had, like typing my address 6-7 times. State taxes did not use all the info from federal etc.

Bug in TurboTax regarding Mortgage Interest

Turbo Tax has a bug in it for mortgage interest, and it does not use all of your interest as a deduction. It only used 4% of my interest which caused me to have to pay about $500 more in federal taxes.I feel that I'm owed compensation for this major error.

TurboTax was not a good experience this year.

I have used TurboTax ever since they had a version for macs. This year the experience was very frustrating. I had to buy a new computer to use the program, since my old computer did not have new enough software, then the program was buggy. Documentation kept saying to use the "jump to" feature and it did not exist for macs. Never did find out how to access change refund. I had to use the forms feature, and even there, I could not change it in the box that made the most sense. It makes no sense to have a search feature that take you nowhere. I am very disappointed.

Lost information once?

We entered information, saved the file, but had to reenter the information again. This is the first year we have had that happen with TurboTax, so it was a bit jarring.

Doesn't Explain enough...Question if it is correct

No real explanation as to why itemized won't be better than standard deduction. They said to input health expenses only if they are above a certain amount, but you put it in, and it still counted for nothing. So many examples like this where stuff didn't make sense.
