Better than having an CPA

I have been helping with simple tax return and more complicated returns using turbo tax. This is the best and easiest and most trusted tool to file tax return. It is very intuitive and easy to follow, 95% of time, I have no issue at all; when I do and TT support is always there and helped me solve issues very quickly.

Bugs can be frustrating, especially w/o support

I encountered a frustrating error message that was completely cryptic and unhelpful. It turned out to be a bug in the software. Unfortunately, without actual support from Turbo Tax (they rely on community support forums), it was a long and painful process to figure out the problem and work around it. Filing taxes is a big enough pain without software making matters worse, not better.
The rest of the software worked fine.

Error message won't let me file my taxes

I completed my taxes and an ommission on the program for COVID-19 Relief won't let me file my taxes. This is ridiculous. Said a solution will be ready by the end of April and we are in May and still waiting.

Turbo Tax is easy to use

Turbo tax is easy to use. It saved me a lot time. However, the cost to purchase another state and additional cost for state e-file adds up. There should be a package for people that have to file several state.
