Their Desktop App is a Nightmare

If you're just doing a very simple tax return then TurboTax is great. But through the process of trying to amend my taxes I realized how poorly setup everything really is. They forced my to download the 2019 version of their horrible application to do the amendment, and it was all such a pain. On top of that it always gave me options to print out a copy of my amended return, but apparently its too difficult to just have a "save as PDF" button so I can have it virtually. Really just such unneeded pain, if you're going to make us use your app then make the app intuitive in at least the slightest way. Poor job.

Mostly good. Could have been more helpful with specific minister of religion elements addressed and provided for, such as housing allowance exclusion.

Turbotax Needs to Fix Duplicate 1099-R Issue

I always use Turbotax because it is always easy and does my calculations for me as well as carrying information over. However, this year there was an issue with fault Duplicate 1099-R government rejections. Even if it was a compatibility problem on the IRS side, TurboTax should have been able to make a fix with their software.

Annual changes take time learning but end results are better every year. I remember the days when I used the thick yellow J.K.Laser book as only guide. World of difference.
