Very disappointed in TT this year.

Terrible experience this year. Self Employed on ACA insurance issue a big problem rejecting filing on 4/11/2021 and then saying can't refile until 4/30/2021 with not explanation or guidance. Still not sure if it will work or if there will be a future issue. Updates not longer tell you what they encompass. Poor, poor, poor.

Turbo Tax Home and Business-Mac

Lot's of issues this year and spent more time with technical support over multiple weekends. This is second year in a row that have had issues with the MAC versions. Due to complexity cannot utilize online version and have to utilize desktop application. Really poor experience with crashes and issues. Spent a weekend with various support personal we are talking 3 hours plus. As long time user going back to college days this has been an experience that has me looking elsewhere for 2021 taxes. Still utilize for Dad and Sister but they have simple taxes and online is fine. Just this killed multiple weekends in trying to complete my taxes due technical difficulty. Not even sure if it calculated correct tax amounts for 2020 given the technical issues with the program.

Useless second year in a row...

Last year my return was rejected for e-filing due to death of a spouse. I had to file by mail. This year I still have the same issues e-filing for unknown reasons despite AGI and PIN matching. I will no longer be using turbotax as there is no solution or help for these problems. Worst experience I have every had in my tax filing history.

TurboTax made a potentially horrific process quite easy and extremely user friendly. I was not looking forward to this tax filing but you made it easy and IT'S DONE!!!!

TurboTax does not efile returns

We are filing Federal and NY State tax returns for my father who died in February 2020. I am the Executor. I also had Power of Attorney when my father was alive. TurboTax gives a message saying it cannot e-file the Federal & State returns. But the NY State instructions say that NY will not accept a mailed return. What do we do?
