Download is much better than online version

Helpful suggestion

Turbo tax is an excellent tax software. My issue is that other tax programs do not charge for additional states or for filing more than state return and I feel this is where Intuit will lose customers. Suggest to re-look at the structure and figure out a way to reduce the other states program or filing charges. There can not be that many but for those that have more than one state it will be a game changer to switch.

Have used Turbo Tax for a number of years. I found the software very good. Just follow the steps. This is the first year 2021 that I filed electronically. Really easy.

Dissapointing Challenges with TurboTax

I have used turbotax for 20 years. Several glitches in the software that required significant time to figure out this year-really simple stuff that is wrong like charitable contribution when using standard deduction. Had to search on line-none of he help via turbo tax was relevant or helpful. Had to engaged a CPA on my taxes due to incorrect cost basis calculation.

Worst experience ever

Finds past year return and completely botches pulling across useful information or making it easy to see and refer back to what the previous year values were. Absolutely dreadful questions that are confusing, unclear and full of double negatives. So called help windows provide almost worthless boilerplate text that doesn't do an adequate job of explaining what you were looking for. This product gets worse and sloppier every year. I am very disappointed and will look for something new next year.

Great tax prep, but troublesome functionality

Tax calculation and input went fine...
I had to change my screen resolution and Run as administrator to make my efile payments... Turbo tax just goes dead otherwise and I couldn't make progress until I searched for help on the web. ...And then I remembered that I had to do this last year too.
Terrible.
