Glad to have it but unhappy with the State portion

Federal was OK. The MN state questions asked for answers that should have been easily found in the prior return. Also asked confusing questions, and the "help" was a large list of items that were not helpful at all. In addition, the part year questions on the state return asked for "which should be allocated to the prior address and the new," with no explanation on how to figure that out. I ended up going line-by-line through the forms to get the answers. No point in using turbotax if I have to do that. I ended up mailing in the state returns, because I did them manually anyway.

I am a solo practicing attorney. I have successfully been using TurboTax for over ten years. I always choose the "interview method" to progress through the intuitive program. That way, I don't miss anything. That way I don't have to decipher any of the confusing forms as TurboTax reliably populates the forms completely in the background. I find that TurboTax is easy to use for the non-tax knowledgeable population; yet, I can rely upon its completeness and accuracy. Can't get better than that!

Always The Best There Is!

I've used TurboTax for about 100 years. Only strayed a year or two. Always come back because this application gets the job done, with the least pain and fuss. I always feel like I've gotten a tax lesson too! I have complete confidence in the results, and fully understand my returns each year. Thanks guys for keeping up the quality!

Not the same program it was in the past

I've been a loyal TurboTax user for approximately 20 years. My experience this year has be questioning my loyalty going forward.
First, changes that were made to how values are rounded in the investment section (rounding inputs instead of the result after all calculations were made) made it difficult to verify data was imported correctly, as well as potentially increasing or reducing the amount of reported income by a significant amount as the number of transactions increased.
Second, the late changes due to the American Rescue Plan caused no end of headaches. My first attempt at filing was rejected due to a changing worksheet with the only guidance from TT being to wait until after April 30th to file again. No other communication whether the fix had been made at that time, so I filed again somewhat blindly. At least it was accepted that time. Additionally, the ARP caused changes that showed up without warning and caused me to have to redo my taxes multiple times. I realize that these are changes that TT didn't cause, but the way they were handled, without much transparency, was unacceptable.

Wouldn't print to my HP printer, difficult to send to myself, and information within the program very difficult to understand
