Good Tax prep, with problems

Helped me work through my taxes, but gave me fits in two areas. Because of a down turn in private business I had very little expenses, but the software carried over miscellaneous expenses from the previous year and wanted me to enter new amounts for the previous entries during the error fix phase. Also, although on Medicare, it wanted form 1095-A for health care coverage for the year. It took me forever to find that I didn't need it and had me looking all over for the darned form. Neither of these problems were helpful and added significant stress to the process.

I've used Turbo Tax for well over 10 years to file my taxes. It's so easy I think my 10yo Grandson can use it. Just follow the directions step by step its easy as that!!

Very disappointed I could not e file

Could not e file due to QBI election - you guys need to figure out how to upload a PDF signature file - otherwise I will NEVER use you again and I am a 20+ year user and a CPA and have recommended your product to dozens of people.

TurboTax Lowered Stress Level

I always dread taxes. But this year was a breeze as I didn't need to figure out how to calculate the Pandemic deductions as it pertains to unemployment --TurboTax did it all. I own a small business and I was able to take advantage of all deductions that applied to my business. I purchased a lot of equipment last year and with TurboTax I was able to figure out how to best get a deduction.

Turbo Tax saved me from a lot of stress!

Basically, the checks and balances and error analysis are supremely good. Overall I am very pleased. Preparation of documents and good record keeping make all the difference in the world. Turbo Tax is definitely a great investment!

Every year I am charged to file my State

I purchase the download every year. My download should include one free state filing. I select that I want to use my free state and I am charged for it anyway when I efile.

I have used Turbo Tax Home and Business for the last 23 years and will continue using it. Even though I am a CPA , I enjoyed the step by step guide since the tax laws change often.

Good but some issues

Turbo Tax over-all is a good product but this years version had issues with processing the return where it repeated steps which caused concern as to what was being captured or not. Got by those issues on a positive side but then ran into issues processing payment for the State return which was paid for but the product process keeping failing and wouldn't accept paid status and kept failing on accessing the Intuit site stating my file has been restored but I would have to go back and add a state. Basic processing that worked fine last year failed miserably. Suggestion would be to volume User test the product more prior to releasing. It should be a much smoother processing with less blips.
