How do i resolve the turbotax agi vs. irs agi?

The prior year AGI amount for my 2019 return, pay due irs $3008, will not meet the irs agi edit. the turbotax agi i used was correct according to the turbotax prompt and the copty i filed in 2019. How do I resolve this issue?

Good, with a few frustrating technical glitches

I've used TurboTax happily for about 7 years with no problems I can remember. And on the whole, it was still great this year, but I did have a little technical trouble. First, a firewall on my network was (apparently) preventing the app to finish some kind of update operation during startup. And that's not TurboTax's fault, obviously, but the app just spun and spun and spun and never gave me an error message I could use to troubleshoot the problem, nor did it even timeout and fail. The second problem I had was that having my filing cost deducted from my refund didn't work. The error message said, "Your Transmission Didn't Go Through... for the following reason: Refund Transfer payment method isn't available right now... Looks like we've had a technical hiccup." I tried several times one evening and several times the next day. I went back through the filing part of the process a couple of times (which wasn't nearly as easy as it should've been, either) to make sure I hadn't messed something up before finally paying for filing with my credit card. Thankfully that worked, and I'm done. Since I've had such a great experience with TurboTax so many times in the past, I'm willing to be forgiving, and I still plan to use it again next year. On the whole, I still consider it the best way to file. But next time I'll probably try the online experience rather than the desktop app. Maybe that'll take off the rough edges.

We use TurboTax every year. We wouldn't think about using anything else. The audit protection is outstanding! If you don't have it, you need to switch!

LOVE<>HATE TT?

In general, TT still works fine, better the less complicated your tax life. Handles basic business well. However, in these days where investing in securities of foreign companies and ETFs is easy and increasingly commonplace, TT is a nightmare for completing Form 1116 where one has multiple countries to report, and little direction is available. (IRS instructions are no better) The program seems to work against itself, so one is left to manually override to get it correct.
