Very disappointed

I've been a long time satisfied user of TurboTax and never had any serious issues until this year. I've traded various financial instruments (stocks, options, ETFs/ETNs) all my life. In 2020 I switched to day trading full time and had several thousand transactions in the year. I discovered the hard way that TT doesn't like to import more than 3000 transaction from my financial institutions. No problem. I can summarize all my trades and provide a summary in TT. Well, good luck if your aggregate cost basis reaches or exceeds $10M. TT doesn't support any value over $9,999,999.99. I found out that there are many others in the same boat as me when I looked through the TT support site and realized that TT doesn't offer any fixes. As a former IT person and software developer, I know it can't be too difficult to provide more digits in the number fields. Why TT is resisting making this change is beyond me. And before you dismiss this as a fringe case, let me tell you that I am not a multi-millionaire with a 7-8 digit trading account (I wish). Far from it. If you take frequent trades, as day traders do, you may be trading in and out of the same position multiple times. So if you were to trade a $5000 position 5 times a day, that gives you an aggregate cost basis of $25K. If you do this 200 days a year, then you have 200x25K in cost basis. You can see that the numbers can add up very quickly even in a small account. The fact that TT doesn't support numbers over $10M is a huge limitation and short sighted.

2020 TurboTax Home and Office is AWESOME!!

As always, the step by step walk through is fantastic and easy to follow. The explanations this year are easier to understand. Lots of changes to some of my tax situations and TurboTax is all over it. Thank you!

TurboTax is great, but I can't e-file

I am little disappointed as when I e-file my Federal tax, it was rejected repeatedly due to the problem of AGI does not match. I tried using exact value from my record, the value shown in the IRS transcript, and 0, none of these worked. Eventually, I have to file it by mail.

If Turbo Tax would review prior year tax, carry forward and enter any carryover capital gain or loss to current tax for the preparer to see, it would greatly enhance the program.
