Usually LOVE Turbo Tax BUT. . .

I have used TurboTax for awhile with no issues. This year, my return was rejected due to something with the marketplace insurance and trying to find an answer to the issue has been impossible. Through google search, I found others experienced something similar. I had to drop my rating to a 3 star because everything is great until there is an issue. :(

it's faster than doing it myself

When it works it works. It's not always clear and I have to do a lot of research myself many times on what things means or how to calculate the information to actually put in. Last year they didn't get some paperwork that should have been done and it was an extra several thousand in costs. Eventually I hope to find a CPA that is actually reliable.

I'm a minister and found turbotax had no easy way of dealing with my situation for recording professional expenses and the non-deductible portion of expenses. I had to play around with the Schedule C return in order to get it right.

Really sucked this year

Was not easy to get the help i needed to file. On top of that you charged me $25 for a simple $90 return that wouldn't go through electronically - not free, free, free, instead rip-off, rip-off, rip-off
