TurboTax is a bit grabby on the registration info.
The program needs to update every time it's run, even AFTER the filing deadline.
This is the only program I have that requires me to update MacOS. On older systems, every OS update is an opportunity for problems.
Other than that, TT works well.

Good overall - always a glitch and have to call

We have very complicated taxes. I have had to call in for guidance the last several years. Mostly very helpful advisors or they transfer me to a CPA that has the knowledge. We have rental properties in 4 states. Turbo tax doesn't remember that from year to year for some reason and directs me to input data on my home state first. All of the TT advisors told me that this is what is creating issues. Next year I'll do my home state last and hope things go well and I don't have to call in.

Good tax software, Cost / Fees on the higher side

I have used TurboTax for a few years and the software is good. However, there are many other options now, and the cost to buy and the additional fees to file the state return seem high in my opinion. Would like to see free state file included.

I like the interview process to walk me through a very difficult period of every year. Preparing taxes is a dreaded process every year. However, TurboTax does well in helping ease the pain of the process.

Turbo Tax 2020 has a problem

Wife and I had same wages from same company, Turbo Tax thinks they are duplicate W2s but they are not. Then they were rejected for same reason.
