14 years and still going strong

Have been using Turbo Tax over 14 years. Moves, Job changes, all kinds of "surprises" and still the tool to use.

Very poor this year

I have had nothing but problems with Turbo Tax this year. Problems with updates that required me to uninstall and reinstall Turbo Tax 3 times. The last update won't let me put in the status of my daughter's two children and doesn't count them as dependents so she doesn't get any credit for them

Turbotax is reliable easy to use for the most part

I think the system asks to many questions that don't apply to most tax payers. They need to streamline the questions so that they only ask when the individual is in need of that area.

TurboTax techs are great

We have used TurboTax for many years. This is the first year that I had to call tech support several times. The program would get stuck in a loop when trying to update. We found it worked just to uninstall and reinstall which was a pain.

Turbo Tax is a great program

The walk through feature makes it easy to see how your return is being filled out. Some of the help sections are a bit difficult to understand.

Constant updates -every time it opens it attempts an update regardless of the need and would hang on the update. Had to reload several times and continues to this day to ask for license that it claims has already been used... if I take it to work and open the program on the work internet - no problem. I then put the computer to sleep and open it at home it works. If the PC updates, then I have to repeat the process... I am in the process of looking for another program to use next year...

I love the all the features and the guiding me through all aspects of the return. I find it easy to follow Turbo Tax. I have used it for many years and are always satisfied.

Worst year ever with TurboTax.

Updates would not update. Could not sign on unless I let them. Filing was mostly trying to sell Audit defense or filing on line for a fee.. Why don't you try to go back like you used to be and be helpful instead of being like a car salesman and wanting add everything.
