Trust TurboTax

I have been using TurboTax for years. I can always count on them. In fact, my daughter said there was a credit a neighbor told her about. I said, "Trust TurboTax" if it is a real credit you are entitled to, the software will let you know.

TTax is sometimes great, other times . . .

I have been using TA Tax since the dark ages. Usually with questions, but got them answered.
TODAY I got n error notice just as I was ready to hit the send button. at that late hour the system sent me back to correct 2 errors. Why sp late? Why AFTER i had printed the forms?
However, the corrections were made. But over 1 hour was waster for a problem that should have been noted earlier.

Taxes are Complicated - Turbotax is Easy

I've used Turbotax in the past when I had a single employer (single income) and an uncomplicated return. I retired in 2020 and had five separate 2020 income streams with differential FIT and SIT tax treatments. Turbotax did the calculations and I'm happy it did.

Yearly issues

the most anxiety ridden part with your software is when it gets to FIX ERRORS. Over the last few years the same software related black outs happen. You show the area where to fix the error in yellow but won't allow any keyboard strokes in the yellow areas. This year it cost me a ELOC interest deduction of $349 as I needed to delete the whole form to be able to file my taxes online. There are other bugs, like it won't let me hit continue at the bottom of pages, only if I safe the return myself at that point. Clearly very buggy version!!!!
