Turbo Tax is a great item. Powerful and flexible.

Turbo Tax is user friendly and allows the tax filer to use the questionnaire steps or to enter the data directly into the fields. It also allows the user to return to any of the forms that were already populated to make changes. It is a great product.

I couldn't find my last years NY state taxes on file. No live help... Couldn't resolve issue... However was able to file taxes. The process and legal ease keeps getting longer..

Turbo Tax 2020 review

I use Turbo Tax regularly, but I ran into a number of issues this year trying to complete my 2020 return. The program was very slow to download and install updates. Some forms would not pull up. The computer had to be re-started several times for the forms to finally pull up or to be allowed to make entries into the different fields. I was not/am not happy about these delays in workability. My son installed the program on his computer and had the same issues so no, it is not a quirk of my computer or my internet service provider being slow in speed.

Turbo tax is cumbersome!

It used to be that Turbo Tax was simple even with my complex returns. The program now seems to hide things behind screens that aren't easily accessible. One significant discrepancy that was unnerving was the 2 year comparison in the Income section. It listed a value that couldn't be found on my 2019 return. I pulled up the previous return to do a line per line comparison and the numbers in the 1099-misc did not agree with the number generated in the 2 year comparison for the 2020 return. This is very disturbing, who knows where this number came from and potentially what it could trigger? Also the source of some numbers that are calculated are not transparent, for example when you double click on an entry. I found myself actually checking the forms to clarify if things were put in the correct lines, in my mind that's the softwares job!

Great Software

Was expecting an email for updated software for new 2021 changes for unemployment income but never received it. By chance just opened program and noticed refund increased so looks like changes were made.
