TurboTax Has Been My Go To for Many Years!

I have used several other tax software programs online as I assist members of my family with free online e-filing and as a volunteer in my community to assist folks with their tax returns. Turbotax is my favorite of all that I use, which supports my choice of Turbotax as my "go to" software for some 15 years.

Good, but could be better

You can't access individual IRS Forms of your return, only TT's input templates. So you have to figure out where your input data is going on your IRS return, and work backwards from there to figure out how to create the return you want to send rather than accepting TT's version. For instance, as a first time user, I wanted to include depreciation of listed property of prior years on Part V on IRS Form 4562, but I couldn't get TT to do this. TT is not easily customizable for the tax saavy user.
