Could be Better

There are parts of the Turbotax process that is very frustrating and at least a couple pieces of information shown on the screen that is incorrect. For example - based on my birthday a message is displayed about the Required Minimum Distribution when approaching 70 1/2 years of age. That is incorrect information. Currently the RMD is NOT required until age 72. Also it would be very useful to include a message that the charitable contribution can be taken even if using the standard deduction. This is not mentioned until after all deductions and credits are finished which caused me to go back and search for this entry.

Ok for simple case

Turbotax is ok for filing individual tax return if the situation is not too complicated.
For business tax return the product is lacking. It does not cover all that is needed. It does not provide enough guidance. Also the software has a lot of bugs. It will be still better to find a real tax professional to help on business tax.
