Good but slow

The software is good, but overall it is slow and quite often it shows "not responding". So you have to wait until it wakes up again.

It's never quite free - always a charge in there

First they tell you that you can file for free electronically. You go through the filing and then it automatically moves you into the state e-filing (could not find a way to decouple them) and then at the end it gives you a $25 charge for efiling.

Major bug for 2020

This year's software featured a bug that would have made it useless if I hadn't found a solution online. Certain windows, including the activation window, either hang or can't be accessed unless you change the resolution of the display. I don't understand why Intuit hasn't done anything to alert customers to this problem or to offer a fix. Otherwise the software was pretty good.

Not what I was expecting

Don't recommend this for newly self-employed, preparing your own taxes. Hard to go back and change things when you realize you made a mistake. Also, it said it came with a free state return but I still had to pay an extra $25 at the end in order to file my state. Going to use someone else in the future.

Very user-friendly and easy to follow! Made a complex tax preparation very simple.
