Always Reliable

Good but still buggy

Every year, the program crashes. This year wasn't as bad, but I had to do a force quit several times. Luckily, the data was still intact.

Disappointed for Tax year 2020

Have used Turbo Tax for years. This year was by far the most complicated. The two state forms did not communicate well with one another. Awful experience and took way too much time as a result!
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I moved, I bought or sold investments

Still needs work, but a decent product for a DIYer

I have used Turbo Tax for many years as my income has gone from employed to self employed to S-Corp. I am amazed at every evolution of my income that Turbo Tax does not acknowledge the prior level of tax preparation. This is very disappointing, as I am still me year to year only from a different viewing angle. Not only this, but the latest filing did not acknowledge that I can have a mortgage that I did not receive a 1098. The interest paid was only $48 for the year, so I did not even bother with the work of claiming it. Furthermore, Turbo Tax would not allow me to list the ending balance of $0. Very disturbing. Henceforth (using that word for the wife) I noticed that the first e-filing of the taxes listed a free state return and that did not send due to non-secure connections. So re-starting my computer to secure the connection, ended up loosing the first state filing costing me an additional $25. Sad that such a noted program cannot get its business together.

I have used Turbo Tax for 25 years. It is easy to file those dreaded taxes and Turbo Tax makes it easy.
