Had to workaround a bug

Overall good experience except for a bug involving 1099-Misc form. TT insisted I enter a 1099-Misc form even though I didn't receive any (maybe because I did in a previous year) and wouldn't let me file. I had to create a fake 1099-Misc form and then delete it before TT would allow me to file.

2020 Turbo Tax

TurboTax is great!

I have been using TurboTax for years. It is easy to use and I love the ability to e-file returns and receive refunds/make payment through the software. I would highly recommend this software to anyone that prefers to file their own returns or wants to avoid paying an accountant to do it.

Software Glitch holds up the Medical Deductions

I have been a customer for 10+ years. Not happy this time around. In the Federal returns, the Medical Deductions section would not work correctly. After the first entry of numbers, I could not longer edit any number or add to a blank field. This probably cost me a state credit around $1000.
