I am self-employed and life was complicated last year, but with Turbo Tax, I was able to complete my state and federal returns in just a couple of hours. I love this program!

TurboTax doesn't miss a thing. Even though I usually know what I want to work on, I select "Walk me through everything." Sure enough, TurboTax finds questions for me about things I hadn't even considered, reflecting the most recent changes in tax laws. Then, all my data is instantly put into all the right places on my federal and state tax returns. It's really a pleasure to use TurboTax, and I actually look forward to it -- every year!

Turbo Tax Is Helpful

A lot of the questions are repetitive and takes longer to complete the return than it should. When updating information and you click on the option to update all, the system asks you questions on each item and then takes you back to the main screen for the next item. It would be helpful if you could answer all the questions for that section without having to click start for each item.

This program functions OK, for the price

TurboTax works well, if you know what you are doing. Getting decent help is very difficult. Either questions must be asked using the correct words or you don't get an answer and finding what works is occasionally trial and error, mostly error in my case. But, my needs are simple - one source of income and a few brokerage accounts.
