Use TurboTax each year to file both personal and home business taxes. Very systematic to use but here and there it can be a bit confusing. So, that knocks off one star from the rating.

My return is somewhat complex and I spent a great deal of time going back thru entries that should have been saved after the initial pass.

Turbo makes taxes easy

Everything works great in Turbotax, the only problem that sometimes it doesn't cover some different tax situations where you need to go online and search it up or go into the turbotax community and hopefully you find it. Also, sometimes the program won't go further if you don't change a specific value or entry but it doesn't help you to resolve it.

I have used Turbo Tax and Intuit products I think since they launched. I have had people encourage me to use other software and I finally looked at a few apps. but wouldn't change. Nothing compares.

Turbo Tax issues with Like-Kind exchange

I have used Turbo Tax for many years without any issues. However this year I had problems with TT correctly figuring Like-Kind exchange. The program needs to update the step-by-step directions to address this issue and clarify what forms to fill out when a property is sold.
