Turbo Tax Hidden Fees

I paid for the Home and Business edition of Turbo Tax. You get to the end and they charge processing fees of $25 and $40 to efile. It use to be one price and they take care of it all.

Most forms went very well. There was only one place where TurboTax was not very clear about why there was a problem. It did not seem to have been updated to account for the IRS's allowance of not taking RMDs.

User friendliness degrades on State

The Federal Return is OK as far as simple question and answer type of fill in, however when going to State, a simple list of differences are given with very little Q&A to see if they are applicable. It's up to the user to dig deeper and find out if it is applicable. Not so simple.
