not as good as previous years' software

I am a retired professional tax preparer. I was in private business for over 25 years. I also was a volunteer with VITA for many years and then with AARP for about 12 additional years when we moved to another state. I am well versed with tax preparation and therefore I feel qualified to comment on this year's TT.
I have used TurboTax for my personal taxes for at least the last 25 years. TT FYE 2020 is the least user friendly.
I ordered CD download. It would not download with the CD, so I had to use the download from the computer. Could not transfer last year's (fye 2019) information as I always have in the past. When entering information, I got "stuck" several times, had to delete and start over again. Nowhere could I find "USEFUL" help. questions asked and were not answered to the topic asked. PLEASE IMPROVE FYE 2021. I would be glad to discuss this further if you are interested. you can contact me through my email.

$25 for state E-filing is way too much

Turbo Tax is OK.

Many of the questions asked can be more clear and specific (some questions were too generalized). The software would not E-File my return. I also had to pay a preparer fee, though this service was supposed to be free via the IRS, where I initially filed my income taxes.

Turbo tax works well for personal and business tax

Turbo tax worked will again this year. There is still some issues with Qualified Business Income entries as well as with ND state tax documents related to K-1 forms.
