Turbo Tax is a ripoff!

I have used Turbo Tax for several years but this is the last. Among other problems I had to recover the file several times because it would not progress past the point of personal exemptions. This experience was totally unacceptable!

Turbo Tax Home & Business 2020 is a very good

The 2020 version of Turbo Tax Home & Business is a very Good version ! Both Fed and State processed cleanly without a hassle, bug free and useful help windows and links. However, You still can't print the estimated tax vouchers with a blank value should you not know what your going to make for a quarter. You can not print the very nicely done summary pages pages either which is fustrating.

My Experience with Turbotax

In the past I have trusted Turbotax to be up to date with all IRS changes. I know that the new relief bill recently signed by President Biden was less than a week ago, but I am now delayed in filing my son's tax return because he is eligible for a credit redusing his unemployment income.
I hsd slready e-filed another fsmily members' tax return when I was made aware of the increase in the EIC that she is eligible for due to this relief bill.
I have always been satisfied with using Turbotax. It is very easy and I depend on it to be the fastest way to file tax returns.
I now have to file an amended return when the updates are made for my family member and will have to wait to file my son's return.

Electronically Filing Illinois is HORRIBLE

E-filing an Illinois return is next to impossible, because it is required that you have a state generated eight digit PIN to sign your return. The Illinois State returns get rejected, while the federal return gets accepted. When you go back to try again, Illinois wont allow you to E-file, because Turbo Tax wont release the federal return since it has been accepted already. I paid $25 - 3 times, and still had to mail each one! No REFUNDS! Turbo Tax doesn't even mention the PIN! What a shame!
