Many years of use with success!

We have used Turbo Tax for over 25 years. Our attorney once said he wanted to see how good it was and prepared our return using his $5,000 tax software. He was amazed that he found no errors in Turbo Tax!

Turbo Tax is good but some of the dialogues not

My return was refected and the directions for correcting the problem were incorrect
Locating the PIN from prior year return was impossible and the dialogue suggests you should create a PIN for the current year return which is not the correct approach. As a result my return was rejected and filing via e-file was very challenging

Turbo Tax is Okay

The Turbo Tax Federal platform is pretty good, but the individual state ones have inaccuracies. For example, the Wisconsin state form for 2020 is auto-populated with outdated 529 account deduction limitations. The tax forms, which are embedded within Turbo Tax, have the correct tax deductible contribution amount of $3340 listed but the software programmers still have $3280 auto-populated. This is only reparable within the actual tax forms. For the price of Turbo Tax software, I wouldn't expect to see these sort of blatant errors. It makes me question the overall accuracy of the forms. Hopefully they get it right for 2021.

2020 Home/Business Return

This years version had fewer issues with finding forms and better prompts regarding updates. Easier to use then 2019.
