TurboTax will not allow NY state e-file

Could not meet NY state filing e-file requirement due to Federal requirement to file my deceased in paper. Used TurboTax Estate software for a 1041 filing. TurboTax Estate did allow me to file Fed in paper and then go back and file NY state e-file. Frustrated!!!

I wouldn't be using it for 7th year in a row if it weren't accurate, easy and awesome.

A slog, but needed

I use it because I have a sole proprietorship as a writer. I used to be able to use Schedule C with a less expensive version, but now I have to use one with more bells and whistle than I want, and it's too expensive.

Recovery Rebate Credit - Not supported Home Bus

Home and Business version does not ask question about if I received stimulus check in 2020. Other versions from TurboTax ask the question. Spent 4 hours with customer service to find out that even the form for the Credit is flawed. Had to file 2020 taxes and will need to file an amendment once software is updated. I never got my 1st stimulus check for 1,200 in early 2020. When we found the form manually and input data it uses annual income based on AGI for 2020 and not the 2019 that it should have been based on. The AGI number for 2020 places me outside of the limits but 2019 clearly has me eligible. Now I have to wait until I get my refund and then file an amendment. REALLY?????
