Turbo Tax is the best!

I had no need to contact anyone from Turbo Tax because your prompts and explanations are clear. Of course, I have been using TT more than 10 years. I put all my trust in this software because I have been out of the accounting/tax profession for many years. I have not been disappointed in the past.

Turbo Tax was always great until 2020

I have used TT for at least twenty years to file our personal returns. It has always been just terrific. For 2020, however, the CARES Act provision that allowed for redepositing already distributed RMDs from retirement accounts seems to have gotten the better of it. The guidance was incomplete and confusing, and the forms were not properly designed to accommodate the situation. I updated my copy on March 13 just before I worked up my 2020 taxes, so I hope I had the latest version. 2020 was a tough year, and I hope TT bounces back to its previous terrific self.

I hope I am wrong but some calculations don't seem to add up correctly. I wish I can send you the picture that I took during the process of my tax return.

I like how you are able to file 5 federal returns for one price. It also gives you the option to chose go step by step or chose your own screens.
