Very straightforward to use

I have used TurboTax for at least 20 years. I just love how it simplifies the whole tax situation even when my situation changes. I depend on it, and it has never let me down.

An excellent tax program

I have used Turbo Tax software for years to do taxes for myself and my family. I have always found it so much easier to be taken step by step through the process, and when I have had questions, have found the answers I needed quickly and accurately.

Review of Turbotax

I did not contact a TurboTax agent. I prepared my own return. I could have used some help but was unclear of the charge for calling in an agent.
Since I recently retired I had some income from stocks purchased from the company I worked for. A portion was sold at a capital gain. Input as a non 1099. The process was a little confusing.
Some forms were not used from previous years and I deleted by form delete. Could use some guidance where the forms are not currently used but carried over from year to year.
With Government Covid or stimulus amount, It is a little unclear where this is accounted for.
I completed Federal return, paid $60 and filed the return. I needed to file the state return and was unable to return to the state return ($25) charge in the program. This could be corrected so file of state return could be done after Federal is complete. I had completed all state inputs.
