Changes this Year have been Terrible

We have used Turbo Tax for over 12 years. Up until this year, downloading was simple, transferring info from previous take year to current year was easy. This has been NOTHING BUT TROUBLE this year. Changes have been terrible. You are gathering more and more personal information. I am seriously considering switching to another program for next year.

Still the Most Reliable

I have been using TurboTax since the 1990s. It has made the job of doing my taxes as a self employed independent contractor incredibly easy. I can always find answers to my tax questions either within the program or online. Thank you TurboTax

Leaves some things to be desired!

1. Couldn't download from CD-ROM. Wasted 2 hrs. w/ support staff before they downloaded program over Wi-Fi.
2. Most annoying - won't let you Save As to a file location of Your choice; insists on forcing files to be in a certain location. Can't find file anywhere but where program wants it, Cant e-file from any other location either.

Include the filing charges in original price

Turbo tax is ok for filling out your taxes, but it sucks when it comes to extra charges. I have to file in 2 states, so first there is an extra fee for the 2nd state. Then when it comes time to e-file, an extra $25 per state is ridiculous. Include filing charges in the cost, more efficient for everyone. Instead, I just mail the return and make the state pay more to process the paper. I'll look into other options next year as I'm fed up with the extra fees.

Turbo Tax is a good.

TurboTax is a very nice to have. I appreciate the complexities of getting through a government document. There are still some areas where the directions are not clear to me when dealing with different forms within the return. Overall it be hard to get along without TurboTax.
