TurboTax usually gives me no problems working through my particular tax issues. However, this year, there were issues in both Federal and New York State returns that only allowed me to file after I skirted some issues. The first was a "1040/1040SR Wks: Line 11 is too large" error. the number was "0"! Come on! How can that be too large? The second error was that the State version wouldn't allow me to apply my refund to 2021 Estimated Taxes upfront. Now I'm getting a return (not so bad) only to turn around and send it right back in again (what a pain).
Other than those issues (that took a few weeks to work through), TurboTax has always been top notch!

if the government would estimate our taxes for us, we would not have to spend extra money to buy tax software.
