More confusion this year

Kept asking me to fill out a 1099R with no explanation why it was needed. The original 1099Rs were included in the basic information.

Only way to go

I would be lost without a tax program. Downloading from my broker is a godsend. I had to call Turbo Tax with a question and the response was excellent

Doesn't count returns fairly

the agreement says one can use the software on five computers. But, it counts wrong. for example if you start the return on your laptop and then move it to your desk top to finish it. they count it as doing two returns. when really only one return is being worked on. Turbo tax should be fair and honor its advertising.. They also, have got the IRS to limit the free efile to five returns. -- this is just an arbitrary number to make sure they make extra money,
Trubo tax keeps up with the right forms and helps with the calculations. The tax protection services are worth the purchase,

TurboxTax failed to resolve a simple issue

My returns were rejected for e-filing 3 times. TurboTax failed to detect the error or help me fix it. I had to file by paper.

Great Product. The program will walk you through the whole filing process and lets you go back to make changes if you determine you need to.
