Business and Home is good software

I've used Turbo Tax for 20 years or so. It's always time consuming and tedious, but so is collecting all the data for an accountant or tax service. I like to see how the tax system works and how my handling of finances affects my taxes, so I prefer to do my own taxes. It's never been fun, only enlightening. I can't compare this to other tax software.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments

Very good. But I wish you could add one feature: the ability to write a short note of explanation to the IRS (eg why the amounts on a form from a payer were divided between MFJ taxpayers).
