TurboTax Is My Tax Prep Go-To!

Having been a TurboTax user for many years, I highly recommend it as a reliable tax preparation/tax filing tool. TurboTax allows me to instantly research questions I have as I'm entering data to verify IRS compliance. Entering personal information is a snap because it automatically populates from the previous year's return. Entering tax forms is also a snap by logging into my bank and electronically transferring tax information and forms. This also prevents data entry errors on my part. Filing your returns is even easier and TurboTax keeps you informed of the status of your refunds via email, text, or both.

Challenge with state return

I have used Turbo Tax for years with absolutely no problems. But this year, Turbo Tax transferred all my capital gains to an incorrect form on my state return, causing me to access their experts multiple times. I had to manually correct over 100 entries before filing.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments

Love TurboTax!

I really like and trust TurboTax to get me the most refund from my taxes. It is easy and it walks me through and I don't have to be a tax expert to file my own taxes.

eFile for state's should not cost $65 additional dollars. Electronic filing should be desirable and therefore FREE!
