TurboTax needs more tweaking

TurboTax should honor the state e-file fee that is quoted when software is purchased. It is a real surprise to see a 25% increase when you make the actual purchase at the time of filing. I don't want these type of surprises at such a late point when filing. I could have back tracked and changed to paper filing then go to the free state portal to complete the state filing, which is what I will do when I file next. Disappointed.

Home and Business 2020 was substandard

A fan of Turbo Tax usually, but sadly lacking in 2020. They let down the self employed. Prohibiting e-file with form 7202 was a mistake. Other software allowed it and Turbo Tax represented it as if the IRS prevented it. Not So.
Also, this year there was a mistake in the software not allowing a negative number on Sch C under "other expenses". Some situations require it (such as diallowed expenses due to housing allowance, etc. ) and past years of Turbo Tax allowed it. Not in 2020.

Another great year with Turbotax. It is easy to use and I have been a customer for many years. I tried the other Tax S/W , but none compare to clarity and ease of use.
