Turbo Tax--Great, but a few glitches

The guiede interview didn't cover my inventory purchases, I had to go to forms and put it in. Also did some strange things trying to get an alternative Self-Employment tax form. These problems didn't show up until return review was run. Yes, I could fix them--and did, but it was a little bit of hunting around and figuring out what the IRS wanted--which is why I buy Turbo Tax year after year--it usually tells me what the IRS wants/means in their convoluted language. Yep, I'll still buy it next year!

Very good tax program for novice

Overall very good. Seems to have gotten a little more difficult to use from previous years. But I will buy it again. Excellent at carryover of data from earlier years" returns. My returns are not overly complicated but I can do it myself.

Turbo Tax

The download was easy; however, I had some glitches in some screens freezing up on me and I had to go to "forms" to see the information to put in. I have a small business and the business info is first in order after personal and it should be later in the rotation. My home office info was not all recorded at first because I had not entered my whole house information first. Where was the pull down screen from last year where you could see what needed to be completed not the view forms button? There was a problem with the updating the form "Identity theft affidavit 14039" in which I got an email saying it was available but after updating it still didn't show up and I couldn't file until that was fixed. After calling the help line, I decided to just delete that form, and everything was okay and I could file. I like Turbotax but get rid of the glitches. Oh yeah, I purchased an updated car and traded in my used one and the process for that was hard and a joke. Your process for that SHOULD BE CHANGED. The option line for "did you trade your car in" was not there. Thanks

Getting too pricey

Seems to take longer and longer each year to finally get the updates in order to be able to file. Good products but seems to be getting to expensive. There are many other products that are less costly.
