This year found a glitch in the software - excess social security payments not captured on Schedule 3. Believe same problem occurred last year which I did not catch. TurboTac did it correctly in 2018 when the excess was captures on the then Schedule 5 (no longer used by IRS and entry moved to Schedule 3 starting on 2019). Had discussions today with both call in rep and then turbo tax CPA. Both handled professionally by Turbo Tax Personnel and other than taking a couple of hours for Turbo Tax CPA to call back on way to manual correct -- thought it was a good experience.

I have a couple small businesses. One of them started this year. TurboTax made startup expenses and misc expense entries very simple. It also revealed a few deductions I didn't realize we were entitled to.

Turbo Tax is very good

I have used TT for many years and it has done a good job every year. My only complaint is that when you move from the federal return to the state return it does not complete or figure some of the changes. This forces the user to go back to the federal return for information that should have been brought forward. Alternately, they could create a quick link to go back to the electronic federal form.

Turbotax is easy to navigate

Have been using it for years for my personal and business taxes. It is always a learning experience. I learned new things this year that provided new insights. Like a computer program, it does what it can within the limits of the program.
