Simple and easy

Extremely easy to use and by using Turbo Tax every year all the personal information and the previous years data are available to import into the current years return. That saves a lot of time and reduces the chance of errors.

The help section could use some improvement. Some of the items come up for prior years which I think should removed. It would also be nice if you had specific list in the jump to section.

20 Years of Outstanding Tax Prep Software

For over 20 years, I have been using turbo tax, and as my assets have grown and my taxes become increasingly complex, Turbo Tax has made it easy. 2020 is certainly in line with my decades of experience.

Pretty good tool for the cost

For the basics of doing your taxes, especially if they are pretty simple, this tool is great. It walks your through everything and you can see instantly the effect of changing numbers in the top tool bar. Sometimes it does some quirky things though, but if I go to "forms view", I can usually figure out why something is messed up. I love this tool and use it every year.

The best way to do your taxes

Overall, an excellent experience. There are two recurring issues I have: 1) Importing charitable deductions to Turbo Tax. It always requires extensive tech support, internet research, or I just give up. 2) I have a PIN for e-Filing my returns (due to identity theft years ago). Turbo Tax doesn't ask to put in the pin during the e-file process. I have to e-file, and then put in the PIN afterward.
